Welcome to The July Project,
Calderdale’s only festival for children and young people. Explore
this website to discover the exciting activities taking place from
1-13 July. Whether you want sports, drama, music or dance, there’s
something for everyone. Come along and celebrate the talent of
Calderdale.
It all began
nearly two years ago when Square Chapel Centre for the Arts and
Eureka! The Museum for Children came up with an idea for a festival
that celebrated the achievements and talents of young people in
Calderdale.
The Halifax were
keen to support a Festival that could create something new and
exciting in the area and so The July Project was born! 2008 sees an
even bigger and better programme than last year and Calderdale
Council have come on board as a partner delivering a range of new
and exciting events.
