Eureka! is once again opening it's doors to the residents of Calderdale with a FREE weekend of fun filled events!

On Sunday 12 July come and be part of Radio Eureka! BBC Radio Leeds will be running introductory radio workshops learn how to record and edit your own radio interview and help create a sound picture of the museum. We'll provide all of the equipment you need, just bring your enthusiasm! Workshops at: 10am, 12noon and 2pm, for ages 7+.  Limited spaces so please pre-book.

SNO!zone is pleased to be part of the July Project for a second year running and will be bringing over 10 tonnes of snow to Eureka to create a special Toboggan run for everyone to have fun. Children and adults can compete on the snowboard simulator to see who can last the longest and win lots of exciting prizes. For more information visit www.snozoneuk.com

Eureka! The National Children's Museum Car Park

Tickets: £15 per car or £5 adults, £2.50 under 20s on foot

 

Roll down your windows and push your seat back to enjoy two fantastic movies on a massive screen from the comfort of your car under the stars. If don’t have a car, there will be space for you to put your seating, spread your picnic and enjoy the film. Don’t forget to wrap up warm even if it has been a hot day.

 

 

 High School Musical 3: Senior Year SOLD OUT!

Saturday 11 July - Gates open at 7.00pm

 

The Wildcats are coming to Halifax!

It is senior year at high school and Troy and Gabriella are struggling with the idea of being separated from one another as college approaches. Along with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.

 

This film will end with a stunning firework finale.

Please Note: This event is SOLD OUT, there will be no tickets available on the door.

 

 

Om Shanti Om

Sunday 12 July - Gates open at 7.00pm

 

One of the biggest Bollywood movies to date with a star studded cast including Shahrukh Khan – arguably India’s biggest star and Shilpa Shetty of Big Brother fame. Enjoy great music, dance as you follow the amazing love story of Om and Shanti that spans 30 years and two lifetimes.

 

This movie is subtitled in English and is a great introduction to Bollywood Movies.

 

 

Please Note: On both nights the gates will open at 7.00pm with the film starting at approximately 8.00pm.  Entrance is by ticket only and tickets are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment!
