TATTY BUMPKIN YOUNG YOGA

Devised by yoga teachers, physiotherapists, musicians and educationalists, Tatty Bumpkin young yoga classes provide a structured, therapeutic and fun exercise environment for youngsters.  Parents need to accompany their children.

West Vale School

Out of Darkness will be performing contemporary dance and cheerleading dance to open the West Vale School fayre.  All are welcome.

Five local dance schools; Dawn Chapman School of Dance, Jane Elizabeth School of Ballet & Theatre Dance, Dorothy Stevens Ballet & Theatre School, Atomic Angels Dance Display Team and Helen O’Hara School of Dance will be showcasing their talent and skills at Square Chapel, providing an evening of excellent entertainment.

ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES

Mixenden Outdoor and Community Centre

Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 July 9.30am-4pm

Tickets: £5

Adventure activities including Mountain Biking, Climbing, Canoeing and Raft Building.  Meet at Mixenden Outdoor Centre. 

Packed lunch required.  Must be a confident swimmer (50m) to attend.  Complete change of clothing, towel, old trainers and swimming kit required for each water activity.  For climbing, loose sports clothing and old trainers should be worn.

MODEL CAR RACING WORKSHOP

The Halifax Track

The UK's premier model car racing circuit, based at Stainland Road, West Vale, will be holding an evening workshop to showcase driving and engineering skills. The evening will start with exhibition driving from club members, showcasing different types of cars and the speeds they can achieve. Then its 'hands on' experience for visitors, who'll be able to work on car set ups and drive one of the 9 cars on site Come along you petrol heads, experience the sounds, smell and excitement of real Motorsport!
